What does the Chamber do?
Formally incorporated in 1977 as the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber began its mission of business development decades earlier as the Lincoln Belmont Ashland Business Man's Association. Today the Chamber continues to focus on furthering economic interests in the area through innovative programming, volunteer efforts and other strategic initiatives.
How can the Chamber help me expand my business?

What is an SSA?
The Special Service Area program is an economic development tool that utilizes the levy of the commercial and residential real estate property tax in raising funds to provide special services for the targeted area.
How can I get more involved with the Chamber?
The are numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year and committee level participation based upon availablity.
Is the Chamber a part of the City of Chicago?
No, we are not a part of the city of Chicago.The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce receives a grant from the city's Department of Planning and Development. The funds are used to accomplish designated iniatives throughout our service area.
How can I host a Wired Wednesday?
Wired Wednesday's are booked one year in advance and all members are eligible to host the networking event. Booking is based on a first-come first-served basis and members must comply with the WW Hosting Guidelines. Please contact the Chamber office for more information.
