Finance

Chairperson: Bob Kirschbaum, Robert Kirschbaum CPA
The Finance Committee regularly reviews the financial aspects of the Chamber. The Committee reviews not only the financial position but the financial practices and policies as well.

Communications & Public Relations

Co-Chairs: Noreen Vaid, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center & Carolyn Luton, 5 Oceans Creative
The mission of the Communications & Public Relations committee is to promote the benefits of the Chamber to members and potential members.
Meeting: Third Wednesday, 9:00 am, Southport Grocery & Cafe

Member Development 

Chairperson: Kris Hallowell, Lakeview Funeral Home 
The committee focuses on membership retention and attracting new members. Additionally, assist with the surveying of membership.
Meeting: Second Tuesday, 8:45 am, Central Federal Savings Bank

Nominating

Chairperson: TBA
The Nominating Committee is formed and meets during the 4th quarter, prior to the December Board Meeting. The President designates the Chairperson and the committee members. The Committee reviews Officer and Director openings and nominates a slate for the coming year. The slate is presented to the Board and voted upon at the December Board Meeting. The nominated Officers and Directors and formally installed at the Annual Membership Dinner in February.

Planning & Development

Co-Chairs: Chris Irwin, Sussex & Reilly Commercial & Andrea Geller, Sudler Sotheby's International Realty
Planning and Development focuses on community business and economic development. The current issue for this committee is working with both the 32nd and 44th wards to obtain Streetscape funding for Lincoln-Belmont-Ashland.
Meeting: Second Wednesday, 8:00am, Sudler Sotheyby's International Realty on Southport Ave.

Programs

Co-Charis: Neal Heitz, Friend of Lakeview & Michele Kunze, Signs Now

The mission of the Programs Committee is to develop and execute programs and events that are beneficial to the Chamber and its members. The Programs Committee is responsible for scheduling and planning all Chamber events including: Wired Wednesday, educational seminars, annual meetings and dinners and other special events exclusive of the Festivals.

Strategic Planning

Chairperson: TBD
The Strategic Planning Committee is appointed by the President every October. The Committee meets in November to review the year and create goals for the coming year.
Meeting: Annually (usually in 4th Quarter)
