As we prepare for the 2010 Cubs season, it is time once again to meet to discuss business issues around the ballpark on game days. Please mark your calendars and help spread the word to your neighboring businesses.
Meeting attendees will include Alderman Tom Tunney, Chicago Police Commanders and Representatives from Business Affairs, Fire, OEMC and the Cubs.

Have you ever thought about growing fresh food in the city? Organic farmer and Roscoe Village resident Jennifer Borchardt of Harvest Moon Farms will talk about how to "farm" in the city, from starting a small pot of herbs on your window sill to creating a backyard vegetable plot. Gardening isn't your thing? She will also discuss how to seek out more locally grown, healthful food.
Harvest Moon Farms is a Viroqua, WI based certified organic farm. A passionate home cook and urban gardener; Jennifer left an 18 year publishing career to purchase the 20 acre farm in 2006. Since then, Jennifer has worked to make Harvest Moon products available in Chicago area restaurants and through the farm's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
