The City of Chicago has embarked on the Streets for Cycling Plan 2020 to identify a network of bicycling facilities that will ensure all Chicagoans, from children riding to school to senior citizens riding to the grocery store, feel safe and comfortable riding their bikes on the city's streets.

Saint Joseph Hospital is sponsoring Day of The Dance, a Spirit of Women program.  The event information is as follows:

Bring your friends and family to dance, learn simple ways to stay healthy, enjoy music, participate in health, and be inspired to change your life!  Also, enjoy a special appearance by "The Biggest Loser" contestants, Jerry and Estella Hayes.

Wine, Juice, soft drinks and appetizers will be served.

Grand prize raffle worth $500; prizes include an Xbox 360 +Kinect with Dance Central and Kinect Sports, a day spa package, and other prizes.

The City of Chicago offers Business Education workshops every Wednesday and Friday. All workshops are FREE and located at the City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection in City Hall, 121 N LaSalle St., Room 805.

2012 Daddy Daughter Dance

The Sheil Park Advisory Council presents the 2012 Daddy Daughter Valentine Dance!

Friday, February 10 or Saturday, February 11
6:30 - 8:30 PM

Tickets on sale Saturday, January 28 at Sheil Park, 3505 N Southport Avenue:
10:00 - 11:30 AM for the February 10 dance
12:00 - 1:30 PM for the February 11 dance
$9.00/person - everyone must have a ticket (exact cash or credit card please)

Make a reservation at these restaurants, and they will contribute 10-20% of the sales made on Feb 10th and 11th between 4-7:30PM to the SPAC!
