Southport Halloween is such a wonderful event and we really appreciate the folks that put it on. I just wanted to suggest a different time next year, either earlier or later, as many of the young children who are targeted for this event nap exactly from 1-3. Maybe 11-3? Anyway, just input for future years. Thanks!!

I was thinking the exact same thing Karlie!

I agree with comments above. Our two kids nap from noon - 2:00ish, so the time is not the best, but really like the event and appreciate all that goes into the planning.

Ditto! We'd love to see an earlier time as well. Afternoon is prime nap time for toddlers. Thanks!

Sounds like such a fun event, but like others have said, my toddler naps from 1:30-3:30, so this time bracket could not be worse. Next year, maybe shift it an hour or two earlier or later?

Nap time? If your kid is still napping they are probably not old enough to T-or-T..
Other signs that your kid is not old enough:
    1. They can't walk 4 blocks by themselves (Seriously people, how many time am I going to get run into the street by $1000 strollers that are wider than the sidewalk?)
    2. They can't say "Trick or Treat" or "Thank You"
    3. They don't have all their teeth

I understand. Halloween is all new levels of exciting now that you have a kid(s). But if you're throwing them into an animal onesie and parading them down Southport, isn't it a tad bit more about you and not about them. Plus, as mentioned before, you're making it hard to walk around..
